Dear Father Lou,
Thanks you for explaining to me why it was so important that the Apostles saw Jesus eating a piece of fish. I never really understood why that was important, but now I do.
As a Jewish person, I should know the importance of eating together – Kashrut kept the Jewish people together – because they were not allowed to break bread with others. And as you explained, sharing food is part of life.
