Dear Father Lou,
Not knowing any better – I tend to be literal in reading the Gospels. And some of them, especially today’s reading, puzzled me.
But you explained about consistency, prioritizing, not letting things “possess us”. These are words that I can understand.
And I have been praying to Jesus, concerning sick friends, and Jesus heard me, I think. At any rate, my sick friends seem to be doing better than yesterday.
Truly I feel that Jesus always hears me. A wonderful feeling.
And thank you as always for making the Gospel understandable to me.
