Dear Father Lou,
I must have been a bit difficult to write a homily after all of the Catholic Church scandals. I enjoyed your homily very much. It is to Jesus that I go for comfort – to whom I pray.
It is a little awkward for me to tell my religious Jewish friends that I pray for them. I said something like – I will keep a [sick baby] in my thoughts. Truly I don’t know exactly how to say this – to them. I was never within the Jewish religion. My father was a non-believer.
But I feel that Jesus has heard my prayers. I have always felt that He has looked after me for so many years, ever since I saw the Light, and heard the good word.
So thank you Father Lou for all you say.
Peace,
Sue
