Didn’t get to your homily till today but I loved it as usual. Like when you said – take the parables and run with them 🙂 And Take Responsibility and Treat People Well sums it up for me.
Taking responsibility – So many people say – it’s not my fault! But, having free will, we decide on out actions.
In the beginning of the homily I was thinking that we are told that “good works are not enough to get to heaven” But the good works that you are talking about, I quickly realized, are caring for others and being honest, which can and must include faith too.
